Croquet

Croquet is a sport which requires physical skill and strategic ability. Unlike many sports, croquet can be played by young and old, male and female, on an equal basis.

How to play

The game is a race around the circuit of hoops .The first player to get their ball through the 6 hoops in order and hit the peg is the winner. Players take alternate turns, the order decided by the flip of a coin.

The "All England Croquet Club" was founded in Wimbledon in 1868, at a time when croquet courts were popular features in the grounds of some of the larger houses in England.
